About Trevor Shaw

Born in July of 1967, Trevor was the first of the brothers to learn what it meant to be a Shaw in Valdosta, Georgia. Born, raised, and remaining in Valdosta meant that he had to maintain the reputation that his family had set before him, all while becoming his own man.

Trevor paved his way toward Firm Foundation through a diverse background of education and work experience. With his Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and Counseling from Valdosta State University, Trevor pursued careers in counseling and pharmaceuticals before finding his niche in construction.

He began testing his interest with construction work in the early 2000’s, and he was immediately met with success and assurance. Shortly after, he and Derek decided that custom construction was a passion and career path worth whole-heartedly pursuing.

With the rare ability to visualize the end result of individual decisions within a larger project, Trevor’s insight and expertise is welcomed throughout the entire process of each and every project. Championing integrity, trustworthiness, and transparency, Trevor brings genuine care to each project, listening to and fostering trust with each client.

More importantly, Trevor is a husband, father, and active member of his church and community. He and his wife, Stacy, have been married since 1991 and are loving parents to Savannah, Meredith, and Tyson. They are very active members of Covenant Baptist Church and love supporting their local schools and athletic programs. If he isn’t at the ball field, you can find Trevor happily hunting or fishing.
